Obama announces he will spend remainder of presidency ensuring McConnell loses next election
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 07:18 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
President Obama announced today that he intends to devote the remainder of his presidency to ensuring that Mitch McConnell loses the next time the Kentucky Republican is up for election.

If that were a true headline it would attract notice.

People would assume that the president had gone insane.

The reverse is, however, considered pretty normal.

3. Somehow all the news stories keep gliding over that bit of insanity, don't they.
It is kind of like the way they pretended that some of the teabaggers were actual credible candidates.

5. Damned sad McConnell cares more about defeating his political opponent than helping the country

7. True, we are so conditioned by their ugliness that it would
be really weird if the crazy r's ever did or said something classy.

8. Perfect breakdown of today's media
It would be an uproar if the President did that.

11. True, although I doubt there's any need for him to. McConnell's color looks *bad*.
Pasty, greyish skin and dark lips. Guy looks like his heart's not working well. (Cue the jokes on whether he's gone one...)
