On Edit: At first I thought Crist was on the list, but catgirl pointing me to my error. Still, this is a good article because it points to the conservative leanings of the new governor. Without federal bail-out money, we are going to have a lot of people in pain in this State.

FORT LAUDERDALE —
Gov.-elect Rick Scott repeated his pledge Thursday to rethink and shake up government – and announced a group of transition advisers filled with Tallahassee insiders.

Several were integral parts of previous Republican administrations including Toni Jennings, a lieutenant governor under former Gov. Jeb Bush and former Florida Senate president; U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, former chief of staff to Gov. Charlie Crist, and Sally Bradshaw, a top policy adviser to Bush.

Scott was vague during a Fort Lauderdale news conference about the exact nature of what his nine-member transition advisory council will do, how often it will meet, and how a group of former government insiders from the past will help him keep his promise of operating government in a new way.

He also announced two high level positions. One is Enu Mainigi, she'll have a senior, though someone vague role. She's Scott's attorney and "very close trusted family friend" who has worked with him for 15 years, spokesman Brian Burgess said after Scott's

14. Florida will become a 3rd world country!
I've lived here over 45 yrs, since 1990 we have steadily been going down slope, so sad! I cannot understand the vote for Scott.

15. I think the lack of education is the problem.
Private schools won't benefit the situation because those closed networks will just continue the same good ole boy style that is driving this state into the crapper.
