I did NOT remind my son to vote today.
As his vote would only go to the wrong party. I'll keep working on him after the election. Perhaps in two years.

2. when i saw your headline,
i was hoping the rest would be, "he reminded me." but oh well. in our family the only righties are of the older generation. though i do lean further left than any of my children, there's still plenty of left room remaining for them!

3. I didn't remind mine either
His mind is polluted by the idiot shock jocks he listens to at work all day. Better he stay apathetic.

4. If mine doesn't want to be outside in the dog house, he'll vote correctly. ;-)
Nah, I didn't have to threaten anything. His union hall cut the meeting short and sent everyone home to vote. He met us at the library and he, his sister and we voted together.

The ladies were so impressed by our 100% family voter turnout that they gave us an ovation. :)

5. Just my impression
This sounds a bit well, faccist to me. Maybe it's just that I read it wrong. Probably I come the same boat as your son. Except reverse. But my parrents respect and love me enough to choose my politics, and they still do. If I took what you said the wrong way, I apologise.
