...posts we've wanted to make. It's like a right of passage. It's so...DU. I think the most famous one is- without anything else posted in the message- "CALL CONGRESS RIGHT NOW!!!1!" in the subject line.

It's just a reminder how passionate each of us can get and how sometimes, when we leap onto the stage of DU to announce something terribly important, we flub our lines, or slip on our own shoestrings all a moment after waving for the whole theater to get quiet because we have a Very Important Announcement To Make.

It just happens! Everyone's been there. A digital pratfall.

When it comes to linking you should really use the PREVIEW button to make sure the link is going to come across like you think it will. Without using PREVIEW, if the link does screw up, it can sometimes take quite a while to actually figure out why the link is not displaying and to fix it.

In normal mode, a link to a picture on the web shows up in the

You can't use embed tags in DU, except in the video forum and that is limited to YouTube.

To post an image you just use a bare URL reference to it, like so:
