"Fats Domino returns to the stage " (first time since Katrina)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/6675649.stm

Blues legend Fats Domino has performed in public for the first time since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.
The 79-year-old was rescued by boat from the floodwaters that overwhelmed the city following the hurricane in August 2005.

He lost his home, his pianos and his gold and platinum records.

On Saturday he took to the stage wearing a white jacket and his signature white cap.

Welcome back, Fats!

1. I hope he found his thrill
Being back on stage may be the best medicine for him. I wish him well and many, many more live performances. This fall there will be a CD released of his songs done by the likes of Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Paul Mcartney and more. Its on my list.
