Lawrence O'Donnell's new show. I watched it last night and wasn't really impressed. His political knowledge is incredible but no punch...On top of everything he had a lot of technical problems which threw him off stride a bit..IMO though it was boring.. I am NEVER bored with Rachel. I want him to succeed though. We need more avenues for the facts to be brought out.. FOX is nothing but LIES and distortions and regular Broadcast News is too hung up on Lindsy Lohan and other celebrities. Anyway here's wishing him success..

1. I hope he succeeds but I'm not watching him
I remember him trashing a guest over social security when he sat in for Olbermann. He was condescending and rude, sounded like a typical DC insider.

They could do better.

2. I see O'Donell as a nice balance to that idiot Tweety
With Rachel in the middle with pure sensibility.

5. Rachel had more issues that O'Donnell when she first started
She found her stride and with the same group there helping O'Donnell, I'm sure he'll do just fine.

6. I'm listening to the video now
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/#39391806

For now, at least, it will depend on his material--he can't have Biden, Colbert, and Olbermann on EVERY night. He's got David Axlerod and Michael Bloomberg lined up--but he has Megahan McCain and Levi Johnston booked, too. Like Rachel and Keith, he'll just have to find his own cult of personality.

7. I'm undecided, so I'll keep watching
O'Donnell has had some incredible shows when filling in for others, and a couple times he's made a complete asshat of himself in my opinion. Last night's wasn't bad, although I wasn't thrilled with the wording of some of his questions for Uncle Joe. To me, he kinda sounded like he was trying to bait the Vice President into bad-mouthing the President, which would make for interesting TV but is just bad freaking form.

But I'll say this, it was definitely better than Hardball. My usual lineup is Ed Shultz, Olbermann, and Maddow, and whoever Cenk might be filling in for. For now, I'll stick around for O'Donnell and see how he does.

8. My only issue
is that 3 hours in a row is TOO MUCH - Keith, Rachel, Lawrence. Wish MSNBC could plug someone in to replace those horrible prison shows.

9. I too hope he succeeds, but Lawrence is boring. He' s a policy
wonk - interesting to have on a discussion segment of KO or Rachel, but not interesting enough to carry 60 minutes on his own. They should have given a show to Cenk.

10. He's the Jay Leno of MSNBC talk shows.
He's boring as hell, and originally got the job as an uninspiring, temporary substitute for the real talent.
