Her ad at link

<snip>
Connecticut GOP Senate hopeful Linda McMahon is refusing to remove a Web ad that uses archive footage of John F. Kennedy talking about the importance of tax cuts.

The 30-second spot, titled "A Good Idea Then and Now," uses 1963 footage of the late president arguing that tax cuts would serve as an economic stimulus. It's a message meant to bolster McMahon's position that the so-called Bush tax cuts, set to expire later this year, should be extended.

<snip>
Edward Kennedy Jr., the late president's nephew, sent a letter to McMahon this week asking the GOP candidate to pull the ad, arguing that it "falsely implies" that JFK would have supported tax cuts for the same reason she does. "Using President Kennedy's image in your ad gives your tax position false legitimacy," writes Kennedy, who lives in Connecticut and is supporting McMahon's Democratic opponent, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.

*edited to correctly spell DOUCHEBAG

1. I don't understand the Democrats
if they cut and edit the tape and do not run the quote in it's entireity why doesn't a member of the Kennedy family sue. THEY have the money to do so. They are not like the little average American who doesn't. If people started doing this it would shut the B's up once and for all.

Look at fox suing that Democratic lady for using a video of theirs.

2. Tax rates for the wealthy under Kennedy were probably much higher. Its all baout context.

The McMahons are all evil people who treat their employees like circus animals. Brian Pillman, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and who knows how many others are dead because of the McMahons' negligence.

3. This should entice CT dems to go to the polls

The ad itself and her refusal to remove it, only shines a light on what a low-life she really is.
This will work against.

4. Is she really that stupid?
Tax rates before Kennedy's cut were so high that there was no incentive to earn income once one hit $100,000. Over 90% marginal tax rates at that plateau. It's not like that now.
