Just listened to Monica Crowley on a local AM radio station. Wow.

Usually the only thing that is on AM talk stations in my market on the weekends (with the exception of Coast to Coast) is local shows about cars, mortgages, gardening, & home improvement.

This lady is nutz! And she sounds exactly like Dr. Laura. I didn't know that it wasn't Dr. Laura until the segment ended.


Hillary running in 2012! Bloomberg running for Treasury Secretary! All of the usual RW political conspiracy theories. The only thing she didn't mention was the 'birth certificate' but I may have missed the first hour.

I can't stand her on McLaughlin - I often turn it off when she's on which is nearly all the time. Eleanor Clift does smack her down pretty regularly as does Clarence Page when he's on. She is annoying.

You could tell she had rehearsed her clever turns of phrase beforehand. And she has that relentless, juggernaut style of speaking that all the Republican idealogues have. I used to fast forward past her then just gave up on the show altogether. I do miss seeing Eleanor Clift, though.

6. The first time I ever heard of her

was when she was on a program with Ron Reagan. She is a nasty lady. We don't have any left leaning talk shows in our area, so now I have Sirius in my car. I usually listen to Talk Left (except for that idiot Lynn Samuels) and MSNBC when I'm in the car.

For some reason that both XM and my dealer can not figure out, no signal at these times of the year where I live.
