New York’s Congressional delegation has sent a letter to Dr Pepper/Snapple Group’s Chief Executive Larry Young expressing support and concern over a strike at a Mott’s plant in Williamson, New York that has been on-going since May 23rd. While the company has been seeing record profits workers wages have been cut by $1.50 per hour, pensions for current workers have been frozen, and for future workers have been eliminated. Half of the apples processed at the plant are grown in New York State.
