1. That is a huge statement.

It also implies that survival is all that matters, in that view, horrible conditions, horrible existence, that has a higher degree of procreation, would be better in your view.

It has no compassion in the thought, although people can add compassion into those thoughts, the thoughts themselves have no morality or humanity.

Basically by Darwin laws, if you can get away with it you can do it. It removes all concepts of doing good or bad, it removes conscious.

Side note, even if you were right, believing those things, makes a person a worse candidate for survival if people know they think that way, hence why secrecy is usually with those thoughts.

A group that knows another group does not care, gets wiped out, making them lose in Darwin doctrine, so most Darwin doctrine people lie and hide, leading to things like Machiavellian, and deception.

5. Wow. Give me you definition of "is".
And the winning lottery numbers for tomorrow.

You're a psychic, prophet and psychologist all rolled into one neat package. And you're giving it away free on the DU.

6. My higher power
The reality is that it implies that I follow my own spiritual path. My spirituality is based on the tweleve steps of AA and the program. I do not drink or use drugs because my life was almost ruined by excessive alcohol use.

Darwinism means that we have to follow our spiritual path. There is no ultimate truth. Ironically, I strongly agree with Christian theology, but I lack the faith to believe that it is actually true.

The truth is that a liberal, tolerant humanism is needed for this country. People need to find truth in what other higher power they worship. I cannot prove or disprove God's existance. I have to follow my spirital path.

The funny thing is that I am liberal no matter whether I am conservative Christian (theologically) or if I am secular humanist (which I am right now). I disagree with the agenda of the right no matter what my higher power is.

7. Interesting that you say you 'lack the faith'.
I have actively rejected faith. I was raised in the church and rejecting the indoctrination did not come easy, especially since it was presented in a liberal environment.

I still believe that there is a blueprint in the gospel for a righteous society.

When I confessed to my mother that I have rejected theism, she told me that "God does not rape children." I countered that if faith has merit, God does rape children. It was from the outside, examining others' faith, (I was not Catholic), that I reevaluated my own.

My son is still in remission from his addiction thanks to the 12-step program. It is thought provoking to understand that surrender to a higher power is key, as it is for him. I appreciate your thoughts on this, as I haven't been able to reconcile my faithlessness in this context.
