Why do the fonts get really big on DU sometimes?
The only time I have experienced this is when my computer had a trojan horse virus. I'm a little worried when I see it here.

1. Are you holding down ctrl and moving your mouse wheel?

3. Also, if you're on IE, check your zoom level at the bottom right of the window.
Make sure it's at 100%.

4. Well, if you are on IE
stop using IE. Also, delete system32.

6. 1. DO NOT delete System32!
It contains critical Windows files, and if you delete it, your computer will be unable to function.

2. I'm reporting your post, for your attempt at long-distance sabotage of another DUer's computer.

9. Oh for fuck's sake.
Have you ever actually tried to delete system32?

8. WTF is the matter with you? Deleting the system32 file will make the puter unuseable
without a complete re-install of the OS which is likely to delete all other data on the puter. Are you intentionally trying to screw someone over or just ignorant?

11. There are safeguards to prevent stupid users from deleting system32.
It's a running internet gag.

13. Moronic and stupid because there are ways around those safeguards if someone
were to take you seriously and google it. All it takes is one additional free program and system32 is gone, just like that. If you think advising people to kill their pcs is a joke then your sense of humor is hateful, imo.

19. Well, if they google it they're probably going to figure out what it's about, aren't they?
Hopefully they won't go outside, and get run over by those people chasing their refrigerator.

15. You don't think Macs can use mouse wheels?
Strangely enough, Macs are ahead in this area
as well. The Mighty Mouse's scroll pea provided
both X and Y scrolling and the Magic Mouse's
scroll trackpad does it even better.

2. you may have hit the little button at the top left of the screen
that gives you the option of large fonts. I accidentally hit that sometimes and DU gets GIANT.

14. See if this link fixes it:

Edited to change 'top right hand corner' to 'top left hand corner'

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=set_normal_fonts

If so, you can find the link to switch back and forth between large and normal sized fonts in the top left hand corner of every forum listing (i.e. General Discussion, Latest Breaking News, etc.).

16. Right hand side? I have it on the left hand side under the DU logo.
I've accidentally clicked it before... Confused me for a minute. Thought they made a horrible design decision.
