Fox News on all TVs at NASA/Houston
It is frustrating. Every TV in the cafeteria and the common areas are turned on to Fox TV. All day, every day. Besides the fact that NASA employees shouldn't be watching damn TV, the remotes are hidden so the station can't be changed.

You tax dollars at work.

2. They shouldn't be watching TV? At lunch, they're on their own time.
But they should have a choice about what they watch.

4. It is likely that people only watch during lunch and breaks, so the
"all day, every day" should not be an issue

No one forces anyone to watch anything. If whatever is on the teevee is something one doesn't want to see, read.

8. FNC or not...
It's up to those that work there to decide what they watch, not you or me or anyone else.

Food for thought...those employees also pay taxes. As a member of the military that's one thing that I can't stand when someone tells me "you should do _____ because I pay your salary!". Problem is, I probably pay more in taxes than they do in most cases. So I usually stare at them and say "make me"...

11. Any televisions at the NASA site are specifically for displaying images from any current mission.
They are only supposed to be used for government use because that was the justification for their purchase. If they are being used to display other programming they are using them outside the terms of their intended purpose.

6. What would happen if you turn them all to MSNBC (after 6pm)?
If anyone bitched about it, I'd point out that Faux is a republican propaganda station and, if MSNBC isn't allowed, then neither should Faux be allowed.

9. The televisions are always in any missions that are active.
What other common areas are they located? They are all fed from the same source so I'm curious about why anyone would choose Faux. A private contractor handles their video and it is stupid of them to jeopardize their contract by displaying faux where a lot of NASA employees might object. Let me know which areas these televisions are located and I'll research it further and I'll call a few people at NASA to get faux turned off.

13. damn!!
At least the sets at Langley Research Center are tuned to CNN or NASA-TV during an active mission.

But the techs tend to be republicans.

Houston is in Texass...the only explanation I can think of.
