A website to help out victims of the Gulf Coast oill spill
www.bluesforthegulf.org.
A good site and it is run by people who actually live on the coast. On Sept. 26 some venues, hopefully a lot, will have Blues music shows to raise money for people on the Gulf Coast who have lost their livlihoods and so on because of the oil spill. If there is not a venue in your area, perhaps you can give a few dollars anyway. Even if you supposedly don't like Blues music, maybe you can give a dollar or two anyway. After all, it's people trying to help out brothers and sisters and expecting nothing in return.
And so we don't forget, Rest in Peace all of the dead men on the oil rig.

1. Haven't you heard?
The Gulf is fine now, we have been graced here in GD today with multiple posts of pictures of our president with his family frolicking in the Gulf waters, with the obvious subtext being that he would not allow his children in those waters if there was the slightest danger.

And yes, I'm using ironic :sarcasm:

3. I'd help if I could but I'm dead flat busted..
Like a lot of people along the Gulf coast.

I used to live in Biloxi about a quarter mile from the beach, I still miss it.

4. Understandable
I guess a lot of people in here are broke like you or else they talk about things but won't back up their words. Anyway, good luck to you. Hope you land on your feet financially speaking.
