"May be" . . . ????

We've known for almost 60 years that we were exploiting and F-ing up the environment!!

We've got glaciers melting and dropping off pieces the size of states!!

"Maybe" -- ???

4. It's not so much slow learners, as it is the powers that be
holding on to their almighty dollars. There are enough peacemaker/workers to solve any of these problems. Funding them is the problem. Eventually the problem will be sitting in everyone's backyard, and no one will be able to ignore the floods or the stench. Sorry, I didn't mean to be a downer.

6. This refers to data verifying predictions.
That is an important part of science. And scientific accuracy is important to the message on climate change.

8. Don't be alarmed. Most of the carnage will happen overseas.
The Pentagon is on the case! And, luckily, the USA's megafarmers should be in for more rain. Too bad about all them foreigners who won't have to worry about higher prices and longer hours.

those worst case scenarios that everyone was poooh-poohing...? ya well they are a comin, faster than expected because so far most of the models have ben off by 20-30 years, too...

Mr. toad's wild ride, folks... get a raft for the floods, a space blanket for the fires, and I guess some citronella for the mosquitos, eh?
