IMO, Gingrich is going for it. He's all over the 'news' and talk shows
lurching hard to the right, talking just like Hannity, Palin, and Angle. His comments have been offensive, illogical, alarmist, and deadly serious. He's clearly trying to talk to the RW base, likely to position himself for primary success or a place on the gop ticket and to let wingers know he's worthy of their campaign contributions. Judge Walker's ruling on Prop 8 has him outraged as well.

He's doing the same thing McCain did in Arizona Angle did in Nevada and Meg and Carly have done here....trying to out-hate and out-bluster all the other RWs to win primaries before scrubbing websites and revising history to hide their alliances and true bases. He and Oliver North were on the two minutes of Hannity I heard.

In the past, he's been more moderate and light-hearted even while talking gop-lite. After all he used to be a democrat.

2. you need to carefully analyze the guy...
He is smart, but smart in a Rovian sorta' way. He's manipulative, cunning and egotistic.

He's not a popular figure and his ONLY chance would be if Obama continues to FAIL on the economy.

Here's the bad news for 2012... Newt, Palin, et al would have a CHANCE TO WIN if unemployment is still 10% and there is no receovery and the debt is a cancer.

The clock is ticking, Obama admin... it's ALL ABOUT THE ECONOMY. The public is "used to" and expects 5% unemployment... no more than 6% will be seen as success.

Fortunately... 2.25 years is a long time. That's a LONG time to get the economy to where it was during Bill Clinton's time. And getting out of Afghanistan might not be a bad idea

3. Let th Newtster run. He's got more dirty laundry in his
closet than Jack Abramoff and we know whre HE WENT! Yes, Newt loves himself & hethinks he's the greatest Pub EVER, but the internet wasn't nearly as popular in 1994 when he ran & won, and we didn't have shows like Keith, Ed & Rachel either.

6. I hope he does. And I think we are stupid if we don't start
a group to make fun of him for being a serial divorcer. I think no one has said anything about his taking all that money from that so called school he ran for "students". If seems the republicans love to do stuff like that. Start an organization and then steal the money. That's why he had to resign from congress. And I think the media should get on his butt for it.

But then Prescott Bush tried to overthrown the government and ten years later he got elected to congress. So I guess republicans think they can get away with anything. AND THEY USUALLY DO.
