it's creative and satirical. One might maintain, however, that many CAPTIONs are truer than the truth since they attempt to channel the essence of the person. As here, a CAPTION attempts to show what Glenn Beck would say if he was a bit less guarded.

for clarifying......I am old (literally) and miss some of the subtle nuances of DU.....I am also am at the point whereby I could easily be convinced this was an actual Beck quote.....this second part isn't an age thing but rather a very sad "state of today's right-wing media" thing.

12. I'm old as well, but have been CAPTIONing at DU for years. On and off.

One thing I try to do often is try (using the person's phrasing and diction and verbal ticks &c) to write something it actually sounds the person might have said, however outlandish. In the OP the outlandish would be to have the suggestions for violence juxtaposed directly with his disavowal of violence, exposing his hypocrisy even more than he does on a daily, nay hourly!, basis.
