Klingons to invade Gaslamp Trolley Station

The Metropolitan Transit System has intercepted an encrypted signal from the planet Qo'noS signaling an advanced team of Klingon warriors to take over the Gaslamp Trolley Station on Tuesday, July 20, at 6 a.m.

MTS Chief Executive Officer Paul Jablonski will meet the Klingons at the Gaslamp Trolley Station and respond to Klingon demands.

“We plan to negotiate with the Klingons in order keep our trains rolling,” Jablonski said. “We are prepared to offer expanded Trolley service during the Comic-Con International event in exchange for as-yet-unknown demands from the Klingons.”

The Klingons' warship is scheduled to arrive at 5:45 a.m. and according to the encrypted signal will begin to take over the station. Negotiations are expected to be complete in time for a 7 a.m. announcement.

Should the Klingons accept the proposed treatise for enhanced transit, conference attendees can buy a transit pass and travel for four days for just $15—less than one day of parking in downtown.

To celebrate the expected negotiated settlement, MTS is hosting a Comic-Con-inspired costume contest with Rock 105.3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday night.

9. a friend of mine went to a convention where they had a talent contest

and someone she knew came out in klingon makeup wearing a cowgirl suit and sang Patsy Cline's 'Crazy' in perfect klingon. the best part was the guy who invented the language for the movies was a judge and was just floored. he said she was perfect. I would give a lot to have been there for that.
