science vessel that oil was leaking up from the seabed. NO ONE is showing pictures surveying the fractured seabed around the well.

I'm not saying it's good, but it ain't sealed. I'm not a pessimist, but I do want to see evidence, and so far it's not there.

BP also says the taps are not permanently closed, indicating they are relieving a pressure buildup - I suspect it's so they don't get clouds of oil coming up around the fractured pipe.

This is way down deep and no one is seeing anything someone doesn't want them to see. And it's clear to me that the government is not exactly pushing for all this to be made as public as it can be.

All we are seeing is a cap on top of a pipe that is quite likely not to be solid all the way down, with pressure from methane and other products that is 3X as high as the ocean around it.

Keep the champagne on ice 'till the relief well cuts this puppy off. If it does.
