25. I detest that term. I recently discovered that my grandfather, born in 1900, was born to

a single mother. I believe there was some elaborate scheme to hide it but fell through when he was born. My great grandmother kept him and in fact, when she did marry a couple of years later, was brought up as the son of the man she married. When she died, my grandfather was 12 years old, he went to live with his grandmother. I believe it was for religious reasons.

Throughout his life, he was close to his half siblings and cousins, etc.
