They also want the public to be on the hook for BP's mess, as well as apologize to BP for the audacity of making BP accountable.

Is the DNC/DCCC/whoever is in charge of the Democrats' campaign ads readying TV and radio ads on all this? The Republicans are practically begging the public not to vote for them, but are the brains at Dem HQ going to broadcast all this effectively to the public in time for November?

2. Holy cow, with the Republicans pushing a dynamite platform like that,
the Dems will actually have to WORK some to get their asses kicked in November. But I have faith in them; they could lose a one-candidate election for dog catcher.

3. The dems seem void of good messaging. I have no idea how messaging is determined,
but it is very weak, they miss many opportunities to shine. If an Ad agency they would be out of business by now. I feel I'm watching many opportunities for a Loud and clear democratic voice slipping by.

4. But who will stop them and how will they do it?

The "American austerity plan" can be stopped and defeated.

But, one would have to organize a very big mass movement against Republicans and Democrats who want to implement a "deficit cutting" austerity plan in the United States.

Who will stand up to the plate to do that?

5. Please. That's not bipartisan, now is it?
We must sit down with them, and negotiate away valuable provisions.
