It is a classic case of Big Government vs. Freedom: the American Board of Medical Specialists says that Rand Paul hasn’t been a certified physician since 2005, but isn’t this infringing upon Paul’s Constitutional right to say he is board-certified if he feels like it? The Associated Press has the diagnosis of this injustice: “The national panel that approves as board certified said U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul isn't on the list, even though he has campaigned as holding the endorsement. The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that the American Board of Medical Specialties, which works with the, doesn't recognize certification by a group Paul founded in 1991 and heads.” Hippocrates wept.

while letting them think he was? Fraud on the government? Sure wouldn't be surprised in the least
