United Airlines: "passengers are advised to wear bright colors "
and avoid taking sleeping pills less than four hours before landing. "

This is apparently United Airlines way of solving the problem that arose when a sleeping passenger was locked inside an airplane.
Not United's problem, as you can see; the solution is being placed on the passengers.

8. The woman who got locked on the plane is an idiot.
Sure, the flight attendants fucked up by not noticing her, but anyone who gets themselves so wasted that they are dead to the world after a ONE HOUR FLIGHT is clearly too irresponsible to handle whatever substances she chooses to make the flight easier.

I hope she gets laughed out of court, and learns to hold her booze in the future.

9. Why can't an able bodied passenger be required to get on and off a plane
without having a babysitter to supervise their entry and exit? I thought it was only children who required a special escort.

14. Of course a law suit is the answer for her failure of responsibility
Wanna know part of the reason plane tickets cost so much? This.

I'm certainly no supporter of the major commercial airlines. I think they've done everything imaginable to make flying as undesirable as possible because they've come to the realization that they have a monopoly on high speed transportation. The crew may share some responsibility for this but at the same time, situational awareness comes into play.

17. After all the passengers seem to have deplaned, blast an air horn!
That should rouse anyone who mixed sleeping pills with onboard booze.
