OIL SPILL IMAGES -- UTTERLY HORRIFYING!!
Edited on Sat May-29-10 01:33 PM by speedcat
These photos captured how unimaginably horrible this oil spill has become:

This is so heartbreaking.

Meanwhile, I don't know if that photo taken from a commercial jetliner can really be proven to be oil in the water. It looks more like land with lakes to me. I'd like to see if anyone has other photos of the Gulf from that high up, for comparison purposes. I could not find any in a brief internet search.

1. NASA TIMELAPSE IMAGES OF GULF OIL SPILL

This is the best I could find of quality aerial (actually satellite) photos of the Gulf oil disaster.

4. Some Here:

The Gulf Restoration Network captured some truly haunting images of the Gulf oil
spill during a flyover of Redfish Bay, in Louisiana's bird's foot delta on May 27.
The aerial shots show oil seeping past containment booms and into the Louisiana marsh.

5. Where are all the fucking folks that could be battling in the clean up effort?
Damn doesn't someone have something to start soaking it up. I don't see anything in that picture in the way of a savior attempt. Nothing, nothing at all. Where the fuck is everyone?
