why has the media let dick cheney off the hook?
this man's direct involvement with the oil companies, halliburton in particular, took his SECRET ENERGY MEETINGS all the way to the supreme court to keep them secret.

the media has chosen to ignore this.

11. Because the USA does NOT promote liberty and justice for all.
The founding principles of the USA have been upended. We all know that in America, some people are above the law and some are below it. That's the status quo.

If you want justice and accountability, look to Red China, don't look here.

26. Why is the past admin cheney/bush/condi chevron ceo/ at least at the round table now?
They are definately shielding them. So now you get it. Our country has perfected the propaganda machine.

3. Recommended.
I suspect that the corporate media does not want to remind the public about ex-president cheney's "energy policy."

13. Absolutely.
The truth is something that is mighty scarce in the corporate media. The result is that too few Americans know who their real enemy is.

5. I imagine Dick has been "too busy at this time" to talk to reporters
When he figures out the right slimy accusation to level at Obama (which also lets himself and the other Lizardren off the hook) he'll be ubiquitous. Unfortunately.

They can't make him look foolish, or evil--they will lose their go-to guy on national security.

With no food and water. I am only half joking. I still hope the Bidens really aired out that house, it must have reeked of evil when they moved in.

21. The press maybe. this admin? Hell yes.
The press can do investigative journalism, but I am guessing that if this admin really really wanted to, they could get answers. So I guess the biggest "pass" is coming from the good old boy network itself.

27. imagine. secret government meetings with people who stand to make outrageous fortunes....
and what they discussed is hidden from the people they will be charging for these services.

not only are these meetings secret, but the supreme court agreed with that argument. it brings a major portion of the government into question imho.

After that, I think Cheney and Vice President Bush are going to be turned every which way but loose over this.
