So how would one put a political statement on youtube?

I am youtube illiterate, and am interested in having a daily political rant on youtube and creating a sensation.

How is it done?

3. Daily is too much work...

Blog daily (throwaway ideas that didn't make it to the 'script') and film something weekly.

Make three or four ahead of the launch, test them with buds and then write a 'production' routine.

If you don't feel you have something to say that week; don't go film some half-baked thing with an opinion that someone 6 months down the road will post here making fun of your powers of 'prognostication'....like me ;-)

In other words, you have a lot to say and you are a funny guy -- use the B-material until something 'good' comes along that warrants 'A-material' effort. It's just content.

Be mindful of partisanship -- that's a turn-off these days...that's why Colbert is popular. He mocks it and that's the mood these days. It's a commercial or a PSA; not a lecture or rant given to equals. They won't comeback.
