Top Mexican soccer teams cancel match in Phoenix over Arizona’s new anti-immigration law.
Now, two of Mexico’s top soccer teams — Club America and Pachuca — have pulled out of an exhibition match scheduled for July 7 at the University of Phoenix Stadium:

“Club America would like to inform you that due to the latest developments regarding the new immigration bill…our team will not participate in any friendly match during the preseason 2010 within the state of Arizona,” the team said in a statement it gave to the UOP Stadium and the promoter of the game, World Entertainment Sport Promotions LLC.

One of the players Arizona won’t get to see is Jose Francisco Torres of Pachuca. Torres has both Mexican and American citizenship. While he plays for the Mexican First Division, he will also be part of the U.S. team at the World Cup. “I was born in the U.S. and my dream was always to play for the U.S. national team,” said Torres.

2. I had a guy in my Poly Sci class say he is going to boycott
washington d.c. because he doesn't agree with the health care bill. He said if people are going to boycott Arizona over a bill they don't like he can do it too. What an idiot.

3. Since it's a federal law, it applies everywhere. So he'd need to boycott the entire
country.

I'd say he should go for it.
