Prediction re. Arizona
The script has already been written. The right wing noise machine will convince some Republican sheriff in AZ to tell his deputies to start pulling over drivers with brown skin to ask their citizenship. The momment someone files a complaint and/or suit, said right wingers will elevate the deputy to national status and circle the wagons. Palin will tweet away, Hannity and Limbaugh have him call in every other day and FUX NEWS will keep his picture up on the air. He'll be the next Joe the Plumber, only without the bad shady record.

I call him baboon who is a Flake supporter and someone I see being the next Arpaio. He is the sheriff in Pinal County. I heard this guy speak at Flakes "Town Hall Meeting" which was really a pep rally and he is scarey.

3. I think it's more likely that the Jim Crow law will never see the light of enforcement day.

4. I agree with you. It's so unconstitutional in so many ways
that it's almost laughable. But if the GOP and its FOX noise machine wants to immigrant-bash, it's going to kiss the Latino vote goodbye for a long time.

7. Look for repukes to find a way to eliminate all Latino votes.
They've tried it in several states already.

5. "deputies will START pulling over drivers with brown skin"????
That happens every day here in Maricopa County.

The Sheriff Joe's Media Advisory just announced:

"As previously promised, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will kick off his 15th crime suppression/illegal immigration enforcement operation which will utilize nearly 150 deputies and posse volunteers. The area targeted for this suppression operation, Arpaio says, was chosen weeks ago because of its high concentration of drop houses and human smuggling transportation routes as well as overall crime statistics and will be announced on Thursday by Sheriff Arpaio at his 4PM press briefing. That briefing will be held in front of the Sheriff's Training Academy at 2627 South 35th Avenue in Phoenix."
