Poll question: Goldman Sachs - Guilty Verdict?
The SEC is suing the "shrewd businessmen" at Goldman Sachs for perpetrating fraud that cost billions of dollars.

Will The People prevail?

but, maybe this is just a warning shot, combined with the new regulations it may just work even if heads that deserve to roll won't.

tiny bit of hope.

3. If it was Emma Goldman conviction would be assured. Goldman-Sachs just the opposite.

6. Given Everything Going on At the Moment
and everything that's coming down the pike, I think this is the beginning of the end for Golden Sacks. Blankfein will find out he's been doing the work of a false God.

7. sorry, it's not a very good case
this wasn't marketed to individual investors and there was plenty of disclosure on the mortgages contained in the basket. there's two sides to every trade and those marketing the trade never say who is on the other side. the timing is suspicious as well. When it comes to the SEC, I don't care who is in the white house, the idea of politicization within their ranks disturbs me. I didn't like the Cox led SEC since it saw nothing and did nothing, but this isn't a good example of doing something. You had an albeit overbought market tumble 1.8% today and a lot of people lost a lot of money by the actions of the SEC to protect investors.

9. Depends on how big the bribe is and who needs to be bribed to forget this.
