Who didn't pay their taxes because of the recession?

I paid mine, but I'm wondering if there's a widespread problem affording them this year.

1. My income is so insignificant I didn't owe any taxes at all this year. nt

I'll be making payments.

I did okay money-wise overall this year, but the main problem is that I'm a contractor, and I have a side business, but I didn't take money out for taxes because I went through periods of a few good weeks (or months) and then almost nothing. This includes the first 3 months of this year so I didn't have anything to pay taxes with. The weird thing is that I will work enough jobs next weekend to pay the approximately $500 I owe the state and still have money left over.
