Maddow visited the domestic diva Wednesday to promote her upcoming special, "The McVeigh Tapes." In the process, Martha said that she's a huge fan of the MSNBC host.

"You do an amazing job, Rachel, I must tell you," Martha said. "I really watch everything that Rachel does on TV. Her program is thoroughly researched. You are a scholar, you know how important real research and real facts are in a news story, and I really, I get a lot of my information from you."

Really, amusement is about the only "emotion" I've seen her express on the show, apart from passing empathy at bad news. Maybe that's why the right feels it has to attack her; ridicule is a powerful weapon.

and one of the reasons she ended up in jail. There were people who did far worse than she did and they never did a day behind bars.

She was NOT convicted of insider trading, nor of lying, but rather dissembling.

seen anyone handle an injustice with more class than Martha Stewart. And after, she laughed at and joked about her jail time. Lots of respect coming from me - even more, now, with her Maddow comments.

Martha stood up and did her time, she didn't bitch about it, she didn't blame it on someone else.

And Rachel - well, I just plain love my Rachel.
