Open Letter From Historians to the Texas State Board of Education

For anyone interested, university faculty in Texas have put out an open letter urging a more "more transparent, fair, and inclusive process of curriculum revisions, and it must make full and effective use of the faculty and researchers from our colleges and universities in Texas who can offer expert assistance and guidance."

They are asking for university faculty in other states to sign the letter in support of their efforts. See link above to sign.

2. look for whining from conservatives in 10 or so years about

how horrendously uninformed "our" kids are in history when they arrive in college ... after they made sure that history is written out of the textbooks, AT THEIR INSISTENCE ...
