You know what? I think that's because those people are assholes. The climate deniers that is.

One day of hot weather cannot be attributed to AGW...nor can one week, month, or year. No specific weather event can be tied to global warming with any kind of confidence.

2. It peaked at 79° today, here in central Minnesota, you betcha.
Funny, nobody at work said "good thing global warming is a myth".


They said "where's that global warming?" when it was -27 out, though.

10. If it were cold in July (for July) the deniers would be shouting it from the housetops
with their oh-so-clever "well so much for global warming", but you won't hear a peep out of them when it is abnormally warm in late March and the beginning of April.

Too many of them have the intellect of a turnip and are clueless about the difference between weather and climate.
