Edit: Fighting terminal untreatable prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, for those who didn't know.

Edit2: From Wiki:

On October 29, Hopper's manager reported that Hopper has been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.<22> In January 2010, it was reported that Hopper's cancer had metastasized to his bones.<23>

As of March 23, 2010, Hopper reportedly weighs only 100 pounds and is unable to carry on long conversations.<24> According to papers filed in his divorce court case, Hopper is terminally ill and is unable to undergo chemotherapy to treat his prostate cancer.<25> According to his lawyer on March 25 he is dying from cancer.<26><27>

2. One of the last gonzo personalities from the '60's.
I watched my father-in-law die from bone cancer-not an easy way to go. Hope his way is eased as much as possible.
