John Hall (NY-19) is a Yes (Hold)
I'm doing my best to ignore all bad news and publicize all good news.

Wavering New York Congressman John Hall (NY-19) announced tonight that he would be voting "Yes" on the Health Care Reform package tomorrow. Below the fold is the text of an email which he sent out to constituents and supporters this evening:

3. My guess is that most of the remaining "undecideds" are probable "yeas"
The current pool of "undecideds" probably consists of people who have told leadership they'll vote yes if needed, and some combo of them will get them to a little over 216. Then, the rest will be released to vote no if they have tough districts.

10. Crack that whip. Give the past the slip.
That past was a real-life Wheel of Fortune for those of us with "Pre-Existing Conditions".

Next: One Big-Assed Bill To Improve ObamaCare per Month -- just to keep the GOP looking like Boehner McConnell Legree Co.

5. Great news! He's an old rock and roll friend of mine.
I traveled the US on a tour with Little Feat and The John Hall Band in the 70s.

I love that guy! :hippie:

7. John Hall is my Congressman
I have supported him through thick and thin. If his better-informed mind believes this is the best course, then this is what I entrusted him to do when I gave him my vote.

I have grave doubts. But I trust that he will do the best by his constituents. Call me naive. Go ahead. I know the man personally and I know his mind, as best a layperson can without insider information.

11. 'Have just this evening been listening to John Hall doing "Power" on
the no-nukes MUSE concerts in New York City some years back.

He's gotta be one of the best singing Congressfolk to ever grace the chamber.
