who admits on television to euthanizing his lover. Just about
the saddest thing I've seen in a very long time.

favorite professors died of aids ten years
ago. But that's OK. Worth a double post

3. Calm down------my Godson died of AIDS in San Francisco in 1984.

They wouldn't even shave him at the hospital because of the fear at that time.

He was 21 years old.

4. Cheers and sorry for your loss. My prof was a great guy, internationally known pioneer

in avant garde electronic music. Adopted son of
a janitor in rural Ontario and a musical genius.
I was over at his place once getting his help on
with some electronic controls for a project I was
working on. He amused himself by stepping into
his living room and practicing Back variations in
between helping me, which he did as a favor.

His name is Martin Bartlett. It's a cruel disease
because it seems to take the best and most worthy
of people.

was a wonderful man and you are blessed to have known him.

With my Godson AIDS was so new that when his mother called and told us he was ill she said "He has that AIDS thing".

He had a large,remarkable family and they stood by him until the end in spite of the incredible lack of knowledge about the disease at that time.
