david vitter doesn't think DADT should be politicized
vitter of Louisiana, one of the great minds of the 13th century and who wears his values like a diaper thinks the "smooth functioning of the military" should be the basis of any action on Don't Ask Don't Tell. Well dave Gays are proudly serving today and if they didn't have to lie while upholding the core values of Honor, Courage and Commitment the military might function more smoothly.

Another worthless sack of shit conservative values knucklehead from Louisiana, steve scalise says "military leaders we've spoken with" say DADT should not be repealed. Which leaders steve? If you talked to any "military leaders" they have two bosses, the Secretary of Defense and the guy with Four Stars, ADM Mullen and they both say it should be repealed.

And they whine when people call them members of the party of No!

2. Saxby Chambliss' comments were still definitely the best
Personally I'm thinking about enlisting the military in Saxby Chambliss World where there's no drinking, fraternization, adultery, or body art. Not only is the guy an asshole, he literally has no fucking clue.

4. Serving as a Senior NCO
for ten years I spent a great deal of my time dealing with Drunks and spouse abusers and adulterers and people who no concept of money management and not once did I have an issue with any Gay Sailor. But ole dave wants the services to run smoothly so lets not politicize things and insist that many in our military CONTINUE TO LIE. Yeah, dave thats a good conservative solution huh? Just Lie.

3. I should add that Stephen Colbert preempted the Republican talking points very well last night
He noted that McCain says he will consider changing the policy when military leaders say they want to change it. And while we've heard from the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and the Commander-in-Chief, we have yet to hear from Colonel Sanders or Captain Crunch.

6. Don't forget about Captain Kangaroo.
McCain loved to watch his show, even though he was a bit old for it at the time. Intellectually it was on McCain's level.
