Apart from You
My wife has reissued her novel, Apart from You, which was originally published by Wildside Press, via Amazon's new CreateSpace self-publishing arm.

I did the cover and interior layout, which was an interesting and satisfying experience. My wife took the photo I used to create the cover. You can see the cover on the Amazon page:

http://www.amazon.com/Apart-You-Leonore-H-Dvorkin/dp/1449976271/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265220064&sr=1-4

Or (for a shorter URL!) on our own site, which also describes the novel. (For some reason, all the descriptive info she entered about the book and the author didn't show up on Amazon, which makes me wonder why she had to fill in those boxes in order to complete the process.)

Our site also has a PDF of the first chapter, which will let you see how I did with the formatting of the text.

3. Ha, ha. No aliens.
Here's some of the text from the back of the book, which was supposed to be included on the Amazon page:

Indiana University, 1968. Temporarily separated from her liberal-minded fiance, Elizabeth Nye begins an affair, only to find herself caught in a tangle of love, lies, and belated remorse.

Social change, sibling rivalry, and infidelity take center stage as the novel explores multiple varieties and two generations of deception and self-deception.

7. That would mean that most mainstream novels are the written equivalent of chick flicks.
