The media is trying to paint Scott Brown as some kind of populist hero
I keep hearing him referred to as "Mr. Brown Goes to Washington" and how his election was the biggest thing since the beginning of time (excuse me, but I do think the election of the first African-American president is more significant. Yes, Brown won Teddy's seat but MA has elected white republicans before).
The media sure is doing their masters bidding to extreme.
4. Could it be they are describing how he won. Populist distancing
himself from Republican Party. He is the winner. Media likes winners. I do not see the Hero. They always give a winner a couple of days of attention. They gave Obama lots of attention.
His win is significant and we should learn from it.
5. The GOP has no better friends than those in our corporate media whoredom.
Where would repukes be without their endless supply of cheerleaders who gleefully read GOP talking points 24/7? The corporate media should be drowned in a bathtub.
6. The day a Republican becomes a populist is the day I become a fascist.
I can't even believe they're trying this ruse. Since when has a Republican cared about Joe and Jane Sixpack? A tax cut doesn't mean shit unless there are living wage jobs that result from them. And as we've seen in 10 years, that ain't-a happenin!
It's amazing how easily fooled some people can be.
Before the election they were saying that just the chance this teabagger could be elected has sent the stock market soaring. Since he got elected two straight days of double digit losses on the Dow. Now Obama is being blamed for the losses on the Dow for his upcoming bank regulation speech. This country is more fucked up than I thought.:smoke:
