On Morning Joe This AM...

I was watching Morning Joe on MSNBC and Willie Geist was pimping Mika's new book and a signing she will be doing in Chicago, no problem with that but the next story was about the late night happenings on NBC. Willie showed a few scenes from The Tonight Show (with Conan) and how Conan was making fun of NBC and the whole situation when Mika gets upset and starts to criticize Conan saying aren't there more important things going on in the world, why do you have to talk about yourself in this way (mind you they where talking about it). I paused the show and rewound it on my DVR to double check the story that preceded this one and it was again Willie Guest pimping Mika and her book... WTF... I guess it is OK for Mika and Willie to talk about themselves but for a Late night comedian to make "fun" of the situation NBC has produced, that is way over the top. I know I often go to the late night shows to inform myself as to what has happened in Haiti. Then Mika said she thinks the 30 or 40 million Conan is going to get from NBC should be given to relief work in Haiti. I am sure that the proceeds of her book are going to charity, but NBC didn't do to her what they did to Conan. I hope she has not become another Colmes.

Mika became "another Colmes" a long time ago. I stopped watching when I got a DVR and now start my day with Stewart & Colbert.

we know that he can express himself intelligently and persuasively, when he isn't being domineered by Sean Hannity.

I don't know if we can give Mika B the same credit.

5. Mika has a high level of hypocrisy.

Yesterday she gave an interview criticizing "liberal bias" in the media yet does not admit to her own biased reporting. Remember he girl crush on Sarah Palin. Her current MSNBC promo is a complete rationalization for her biased reporting.

Now she writes this narcissistic book and has the nerve to go after Conan. I'm sure part of it was just being a good corporate shill now that NBC has decided to villify Conan. And I was thinking the same thing, she should put her money where her mouth is and donate all the proceeds from her book to Haiti.

Finally, she is not Alan Colmes. Colmes at least was a real liberal. Mika just pretends to be one for the show. That way when she agrees with Joey or spouts a GOP talking point, Joey can say even a liberal like Mika agrees with me.
