Tea Party Nation is pleased to announce the First National Tea Party Convention. The convention is aimed at bringing the Tea Party Movement leaders together from around the nation for the purpose of networking and supporting the movement's multiple organizations' principal goals. This event is co-sponsored by other national groups that believe in a responsible and limited federal government that is responsive to all the people. Our Sponsors include Tea Party Emporium, Judicial Watch, Eagle Forum, The Leadership Institute, Vision America, SurgeUSA, Smart Girl Politics and National Taxpayers Union. 2. Basically, they sold all of the "cheap" tickets.
The expensive tickets that include the banquet are still available.

That's like a stadium claiming to be "Sold Out" because there are no bleacher seats left.

6. Philip Glass??? I just about fainted when I saw his name on the list
I had to check it out. The minimalist composer Philip Glass? Might as well have Dennis Kucinich on that list.

Then I got a second dose of existential panic ("Has someone been screwing with the timeline, and I'm suddenly in an alternate reality?") when I went to the official website of composer Philip Glass and saw that his normally busy calender is literally blank the entire week of the teabaggers' ball!

But I checked around some more, and the universe makes sense again. This is a different Philip Glass. This one is "a former commercial mortgage banker in Cincinnati who is the national director of the precinct alliance," as quoted at El Paso Inc. (link below).
