Kucinich delays impeachment briefing
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Kucinich_set_to_announce_Articles_of_0424.html

Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has announced that he will delay the introduction of Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Richard Cheney originally scheduled for noon today. The change came on account of the Vice President's hospital visit this morning.

"News reports this morning indicate the Vice President was experiencing a medical crisis. Until the Vice President's condition is clarified, I am placing any action on hold," the Congressman announced in a statement released to RAW STORY.

The Vice President had apparently returned to the White House earlier after visiting the George Washington University Medical Center to have a blood clot in his leg examined.-snip-

Dammit Dennis, this evil bastard doesn't deserve that kind of courtesy

3. cheney wouldn't be in the hospital today if DK hadn't set the
announcement for today. Next time, make the date a secret.

4. Quote is incomplete...
"News reports this morning indicate the Vice President was experiencing a medical crisis. Until the Vice President's condition is clarified, I am placing any action on hold because hey, we might get lucky here and not have to bother" the Congressman announced in a statement released to RAW STORY.

And now you know... the rest of the story.

(j/k... Dennis is a lover, not a hater.)

17. I was in a news blackout the day of 9/11
Much like the top Generals of the Command of the military in the USA

The first question I asked a loved one when they called with the news about what was happening was,
"Was there anything "lucky " that happened."

I knew they'd know what I meant. And of course I pretty much anticipated that Cheney would be in a deep bunker regardless of what buildings got hit.

6. Could this be the set up for his resignation?
it certainly would be easier on everyone if he resigned, but then all the crap he's done to undermine this country will probably be hushed up. Does anyone think Dennis might make a deal?

18. no dammit, Shrub can't pardon Cheney if he's impeached - but he can
if Cheney resigns. They did this crap with Nixon and the Contra's - if we want to excise this cancer from our society, these people need to be put in jail - not left loose to run things behind the scenes

19. You're exactly right: the pardon would be just around the corner.
That's why we need to keep e-mailing congress that presidential pardons should NEVER extend to those who are closest to the president...either his staff, cabinet, or political appointees. We need a LAW, or an amendment to the constitution!!

THE PRESIDENT SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PARDON THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING HIS DIRTY WORK!!!!

8. I Bet Ya Dick Would Have Begun Them...
If the situation had been reversed, do you think Dick would stop doing something just because someone had a medical condition? I doubt it. If anything, he would view it as an advantage to exploit.

15. That reminds me of the old Sanford routine
Remember Sandford and Son's on TV in 70's?

Every time Lamont would do something Fred didn't want him to do, he was about to have the big one.

I say Dennis should have gone forward and maybe it would have... oh, never mind, I can't think that way.
