General Ray Odierno not happy with Blackwater guards getting away with murder

Iraq expressed its disappointment on Friday with a U.S. federal court ruling that threw out all charges against five Blackwater Worldwide security guards accused of gunning down Iraqi civilians in 2007.

General Ray Odierno, commander of U.S. troops in Iraq, echoed the Iraqi government's displeasure.

"Of course we're upset when we believe that people might have caused a crime and they are not held accountable," he told reporters in Baghdad, adding the dismissal might create a backlash against other security firms operating in Iraq.

2. You need to understand what happened. The federal judge had no choice but to dismiss the charges

because of Bush prosecutor's misconduct. The real question is the reason behind the misconduct. Was it incompetence or deliberate effort to get the guilty off.?
