I see the whores had thier annual reach-around last night!
Have I told my fellow brothers and sisters here on DU how much I hate the main-stream-media?

BTW: Check out the nice stroking the AP gave Boy George last night:

Little's material was safe if occasionally a little raunchy. He dusted off his impersonations of six presidents, from Nixon to the current occupant of the White House, and avoided any reference to current political issues.

After one joke bombed, he said, "And you thought Colbert was bad."

Best known for his impersonations of Richard Nixon and Johnny Carson, Rich was the featured act for the glitzy dinner with Bush, Cabinet secretaries, foreign dignitaries, Hollywood celebrities and members of the press.

Unlike previous comedians at the dinner, he had no competition from Bush, who at times has shown a deft comedic touch himself in his annual monologue.

No, actually Rich, Colbert wasn't joking---- and, if looking for missing WMD's under your desk means that Bush has a deft comedic touch, well Ha Ha.

4. I made the mistake of reading that tripe on MSNBC
And the first thing I thought was "what about the WMD jokes"-thank God I haven't had breakfast yet! The AP (whoever wrote this) is indeed a whore of the first magnitude-and I won't apologize for using that word.

6. It was sickening.
Little was so lame, even his Clinton impression was lousy and that's such an easy one, even comedian Lush Rimjob does it.

Nothing edgy at all. Thankfully, last night, they followed it with the progressive network meetup and that was well worth the earlier punishment of the groaner, in-crowd bore.

Maybe the ban on anything remotely challenging will continue to produce such a bad suck up celebration that it will be discontinued for lack of interest.

12. Actually, it wasn't sickening. It was just LAME. So lame, that you couldn't even
say it stunk on ice, because it was SO dead and lousy that it was already dessicated, with no smell whatsoever.

With the exception of the LETTERMAN video, which was BRILLIANT, the remainder of the evening was, by far, the WORST WHC dinner I have ever seen or experienced.

Fucking dreadful. The worst thing about it is that save for the LETTERMAN video, it was completely forgettable. And that's the worst review you can give it.

8. I would have hoped that after that disgusting "joke video" of him searching for WMD...
Bush wouldn't ever attempt "humor" again.

9. Last night's theme was
Out of touch with reality and Rich Little was the icing on their pathetic cake.

10. Rich Little crashed and burned.
Last night, Rich Little's tired schtick bombed so badly it was painful to watch. Old jokes, lousy impressions and embarrassed reactions form the audience. It was a tour de force of bad comedy.

Not ONE single good laugh in his half-hour bit... but at least he didn't call his guests "stenographers".

11. Bush was a crybaby and refusing to come to the party
After last year w/ Colbert Bush was refusing to attend the dinner if they didn't have somebody who promised not to make a fool of him. You can't find someone more bland than Rich Little and he certainly would promise to kiss Bush's ass if he had to to get back in the limelight.

It looks like everybody's job now is to make Bush feel good.
