She was a piece of work. Every couple days, she'd post "something" about Hillary Clinton. "Something" usually consisted of about 20 pages of highly-formatted text, with dozens and dozens of bad photoshops of Clinton.

There was never a point to these posts - just a big long extended rant about how evil Clinton was, and it was always good for a few hundred replies of "Excellent job, Mia!" "Keep up the great work, Mia!".

It was just amazing to consider the amount of work she'd put into creating one of these. Each one must have taken HOURS, if not tens of hours. I can't imagine what finally got her banned.

Bryan Hinnen was trying to rewrite the Wikipedia articles on Free Republic -- using a multitude of sockpuppets. He got caught -- and is now permanently banned from Wikipedia.

But here's the fun part:

It was pretty clear that Bryan was trying to eliminate references to death threats that had been posted at one time or another to FR, both on Wikipedia http://tjwalker.com/7-6-99.htm">and elsewhere. (Perhaps he was trying to cover up some of his own in the wake of Chad Castagana's arrest?) During the process of attempting to intimidate Wikipedia, he claimed to be a member of Free Republic's legal team and threatened Wikipedia. They nealry acquiesced. But in the process of trying to go after the death threat articles, he made the same mistake of implied legal threat against American Politics Journal -- and APJ took Bryan and his sockpuppet brother "Dean" to the woodshed in what has to be one of the most vicious anf gratifying takedowns of a right-wing bully I have ever seen on the Intertubes. For the record, I know Mike Harwood at APJ and he tells me that their publisher had an interesting chat with FR's real lawyer -- who had never heard of anyone named Hinnen who had anything to do with FR's legal matters.

Game, set, match.

Bryan's big mouth could have landed FR in a heap of trouble. It wouldn't surprise me if Bryan is in trouble with teh state of Illinois for unauthorized practice of law. JimRob should know better than to let a loose cannon remain associated in any way with his site.
