What would Ted Kennedy think right now?
I am curious. I do not know exactly where he stood.
I know he wanted universal HC, but would he go this far?

2. Ted Kennedy would be very disappointed right now, but he'd still be working on a fix
that worked for everyone.

Right now, he's with Jack, Bobby, Jackie, and JFK Jr. having a drink and enjoying the company. Rest in peace, Ted, and thanks for everything. We're all better off because of you, and someday this dream of yours will become a reality.

3. I can't imagine that this would please him.
After 40 years in the Senate, he'd know a gutted bill.

12. AND...Ted Kennedy's Endorsement Early of Obama got Obama Mega Votes!
Could have swung the election to Obama. Short memories those folks in DC have these days. :-(

15. Ted Sorensen's explanation of Teddy's endorsement was what put me in Camp Obama
I was monumentally uncommitted until I heard his take on Teddy's endorsement. It was Sorensen's view that Teddy saw Barack Obama as the culmination of his brothers' dreams. Not their successor so much as the embodiment of their goals for the brotherhood of Man.

16. And Teddy's dying Cause was HCR...but I don't think it's the one we're gonna' get,.
though. :-( Would have thought as Clubby as Senate is there would be more emphasis on tribute to Ted...and even from Obama as a CALL TO ARMS for DEMS. But, Teddy was seen as a "Liberal" and too much a reminder of the "shot dead Kennedys." I guess it wasn't good PR for Obama to even mention Ted's name even though he has one of his Dogs..."Bo" and isn't cold in the ground that long.

Sorry to be so cynical...but, it's distressing to wipe away one of our Dem Leaders and not ever mention his name ...because it ties into Liberals.

Though I doubt it was decency that stayed their hand.
I'm not an expert on Teddy or cancer, but I can't help but feel that, if he was alive, this would kill him.
