Poll question: Where would you draw the line of the "Big Tent" party?
Edited on Mon Nov-30-09 03:50 PM by Sebastian Doyle
Seems like every day, another right wing talking point coming from an alleged "Democrat" is defended on this website in the name of a "Big Tent" party. Yet clearly there must be a line that separates us from the Repukes.

Where would YOU draw that line?

3. Plenty of RWs here (on certain forums)
There are lots of faux Ds on some of the more speculative forums.

5. You must represent the most liberal 51% of your constituency
Meaning that I will forgive any position as long as there is solid evidence that the constituency is strongly behind it, and that the representative is doing there best to represent the most liberal supporters among their voters

I wouldn't expect the same positions from a rep from Arkansas as from Massachusetts

6. I voted wrong, actually.
I didn't see the "first 4" option until I picked the most important one out of the first 4. :\

8. Why would anybody unrec this poll?
Seriously, I left options for the DLC'ers, cheerleaders, and freepers to vote for. Who did I leave out?

9. I have no voice, so why bother.
Liberals and/or progressives are outside the tent.
