Anybody else want to see Eliot Spitzer as Treasury Secretary?
I was watching an address by Spitzer on CSPAN over the weekend and my mind wandered to think how nice it would be to have someone at treasury who wasn't a Wall Street toady.

No. Spitzer would be a hideous choice.

But can I nominate Robert Reich for Geithner's position & he can appoint Spitz to replace Summers?

13. How soon one forgets Spitzer suddenly...
kissing up to Wall Street the day he decided to run for Governor.

(I don't have such a big problem with New York politicians kissing up to the largest industry in New York, or even paying to get laid, but I can't take seriously any suggestion one who does both, and knows little about economics or finance, should get such a job.)

18. Economics aren't really Spitzer's area.
Though I would support putting him in at Attorney General, because I don't think Eric Holder is going to go after those criminal bastards.

If Spitzer actually got some of these Goddam Sucks criminals convicted, I'd start a fund raiser to buy him all the hookers he wanted.
