"It really speaks to the strength of this country, doesn't it, that total strangers here in Ohio are willing to hold up people in Virginia in prayer?" he said.

My word this clueless classless person drives me nuts.

Edited to add, what gets my goat is that NO, this is not a uniquely American thing that Proves the Strength of This Country, but people all over the world are concerned about total strangers and pray for them. Quit patting yourself on the back Mrbush for how wonderful your country is. This is a humane thing.

7. Does no one else in any other country pray for total strangers?
this is NOT a uniquely USAnian thing, that is my objections. Yes, we should all be world citizens, but don't pat yourself on the back that this is an American Thing.

11. Exactly, we are better than anyone else, see? Great!
I am to the point that pretty much anything he says annoys me, so try to not read/listen, but then I do and argh. How did this person get this position? Rhetorical question.

5. Seems to me that if prayer made any difference, this thing
would never have happened in the first place.

8. And as we all know, those prayers...
...plus about $3.95 will get you a cup of coffee (though probably not at Starbucks.)

12. Yeah, you would see that as a marker of our strength, you oafish twit
But the real strength of this country is found in its Constitution and the principles, hopes and ideals of the American people -- ALL of them -- no matter how you've tried to grind the truth under your heel for six years. And you'll never win. You and your fascist thugs will never turn the US into a theocracy full of pewling followers who don't question your lies. Eventually you'll go down.

THE INDEPENDENT SPIRIT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL PERSEVERE LONG AFTER THE BLACK STAIN OF GEORGE W. BUSH** RECEDES INTO DISTANT MEMORY AS A HARD LESSON LEARNED.

13. Only George W. Bush is amazed by this
because he cares nothing about total strangers. He seems to think it's exceptional. Just like he was recently expressing his amazement that people would voluntarily join the military in a time of war -- something he himself would never dream of doing.

18. I'll bet even Frenchy strangers from France are praying for Virginians
right now.

So I guess that makes France just as great as Ohio, only without the Diebold.

So when are Bush**, O'Really?, etc., gonna stop picking on them?

19. Now now now, we don't want any of that. Only Amerikan Freedom Prayers (tm)
because we are special. I like that line: "that makes France just as great as Ohio, only without the Diebold."
