Breaking on Rachel Maddow's hour: A judge in Louisiana ruled that the
Army Corps of Engineers was at fault in what he claims was a man made disaster through the lack of oversight by the Army Corps of Engineers.
Greg Pallast, are you vindicated now?
I think so.

1. He did not go far enough back up the line.
The bu$h administration pulled the money out of already approved Corp projects. The Corps had very little money to fix things with.

2. I'm well aware. So much yet to be uncovered and brought to light.
Greg Palast's Documentary :" Big Easy to Big Empty" was available for free download for a while.
It is a damning accusation of the administration and lies and the plans to turn NOLA into a more "white" city, with more money, and more attractive to tourists with money.

It's a good start. There is a long way to go about that tragedy and abdication of responsibility and the guilt of our government in charge at that time.

4. That's right--Bush cut the Corps' budget so he could pay for tax cuts for the rich.
Which makes him directly culpable for New Orleans' flooding.

5. Add to this what Poster #2 said about Bush Administration plans to make
NOLA a more white city (per Greg Palast) and there's ample reason for an 8/29 Commission to be set up.
