with this drivel. I guess it says something about the state of education in this country, and the state of our culture--although there has always been an interest in the bizarre.

I think Cspan will be a safe place this week, and probably NPR--but I wouldn't promise on them. CNN is an automatic no-go. Sure she's a media darling--she practically does their job for them automatically. What we get is drivel.

It's terrible out there--it's like radioactive fallout and it's everywhere! I've turned off XM radio, All Things Considered, Chris Matthews, and Ed Shultz--and those were the only things I tried to listen to.

I'm going to be getting in a lot of time with my book tonight, I'm thinking. Which ain't bad. ;)

Turns out Cspan radio wasn't safe either! They were talking about her--maybe on a repeat of Washington Journal? Off it went. Sadly, Rachael Maddow wasted the first fifteen minutes of her show on it. I did watch the show but fast-forwarded that much of it.
